Being unproductive isn’t just a habit. You need to break that habit and take action to improve your productivity. Your future self will thank you. Get rid of unnecessary distractions, such as social media, email, text messaging, and phone calls. Make sure that your phone is only used to make calls and texts. You can quickly return to what you were doing when your phone is not in your hand. Write down your ideas on paper or on your laptop whenever you can.
