Built-In Quality Training – Inteva Romania

During the period of September 23-25, 2025, the ALFRA Consulting team delivered the Built-In Quality (BiQ) program at the Inteva Romania facility, dedicated to strengthening the culture of quality at the source and preventing defects in manufacturing processes.

The training program aimed to develop the competencies of production leaders and specialists in applying the principles of Quality at the Source, through a practical approach focused on identifying, preventing, and eliminating the root causes of nonconformities. Throughout the three days, participants worked in cross-functional teams, applying methods such as Poka Yoke, FMEA, Cause-and-Effect Analysis, 5W2H, and Gemba Walks to gain a deeper understanding of processes and implement sustainable improvement solutions.

Through hands-on shopfloor activities and group exercises, participants discovered how to transform quality control systems into a proactive mechanism, where every team member contributes to achieving the “Zero Defects” objective.

The feedback received highlighted the clarity of the explanations, the practical relevance of the content, and the immediate applicability of the tools presented. Among the key takeaways mentioned were the importance of discipline, root cause analysis, and the use of prevention tools in daily operations.
